Itinerary
Day 1 — Launceston - Arrival · Overnight: Launceston
Join us here at the Richardson's Harley-Davidson in Launceston to meet your tour guide and your riding companion for the tour! Your tour guide brief you on the tour itinerary before a Welcome Dinner at the Iron Horse Bar & Grill on-site here at the dealership. Return to your pre-booked accommodation at the County Club hotel, located only 10 minutes away to prepare for your adventure the next day.
Day 2 — Launceston to St Helens · 198 km · Overnight: St Helens
Kick off your ride with one of Tasmania’s most famous motorcycling roads—The Sidling—a tight, technical climb packed with switchbacks and rainforest scenery. Visit The Loft private classic motorcycle display at Bridport. Continue through the rural landscapes of Scottsdale before heading to the iconic Weldborough Pass, a favourite among local riders. Stop at the historic Weldborough Hotel before descending toward the coast and arriving in the seaside town of St Helens.
Day 3 — St Helens to Orford · 226 km · Overnight: Orford
Today delivers some of Tasmania’s most spectacular coastal riding. Cruise south along sweeping ocean roads, stopping at the world-renowned Bay of Fires, known for its white sand beaches and striking orange granite rocks. Continue toward the Freycinet Peninsula, with views of the Hazards mountain range, before riding on to the relaxed coastal town of Orford.
Day 4 — Orford to Miena · 197 km · Overnight: Miena
Leave the coast behind and head inland toward Tasmania’s historic heart. Ride through the convict-built town of Richmond before climbing into the Central Highlands, where the landscape opens into vast, rugged wilderness. Enjoy sweeping highland roads, cool alpine air, and stunning lake views as you make your way to Miena.
Day 5 — Miena to Launceston - Departure · 112 km
Your final ride takes you through the serene Central Highlands before descending back toward Launceston. Enjoy a relaxed morning ride with flowing roads and open scenery before arriving back at Richardson’s Harley-Davidson for a farewell lunch and tour wrap-up. Accommodation on your return to Launceston is pre-booked.
